8:50 am - Exciting Brent Keith Update!!!

coincidenceof_u
From the 11/5/2005 Brent Keith Newsletter:

Hello to everyone out there!

I hope this update finds you all well and enjoying this beautiful fall that we're in the midst of. This e-mail is to let you know of two things. One, the new song I've been working on with my producer down here in Nashville is finally finished and ready FOR A LIMITED TIME ONLY for your listening pleasure. Just go to www.brentkeith.net and click on the News & Music page. Click on the link and wait for the download. I hope you enjoy it. I know that I do. It's amazing to finally have something to show for all the work that I'm doing down here.
Also, I wanted to take this chance to remind you to schedule time to come out to Gator's in Blanchester, OH on Nov. 23rd to enjoy "The Second Annual Thanksgiving Eve Celebration" with myself and Mavis Pearly from 9pm until 2am. I guarantee it's going to be a great time once again and don't forget to bring everyone you know. We'd love to sell out of tickets again this year because as we all know, the more the merrier. We hope to see you there.

Thanks as usual for your continued support and friendship.

Much Love,

Brent Keith

4:18 am - Short Notice Show Update!!!!

coincidenceof_u
Hey,

I wanted to let you know that I've had a show come up on very short notice (like yesterday) for tomorrow [TONIGHT] night (April 6th) at the "Courtyard Cafe". It's a showcase (audition) for a steady gig there. I hope that you'll be able to make it out eventhough I know it's not much notice in advance. I am sorry about that. If you can come please bring as many people ready to have a good time as you can. It will definitely look good and give me a better chance at landing the gig. Anyway, the "Courtyard Cafe" is located near the Hickory Hollow Mall in the shopping center by the Carmike Hickory 8 Cinemas off of Bell Road. The showcase will be from 8:30pm to 9:30pm. Once again, I hope to see you there and thank you for your continuing support.

Much Love,

BK;)

7:01 am - Upcoming Brent Keith Shows!!

coincidenceof_u
From Brent:

Hello to all of you out there and Happy Holidays!!!

To help celebrate the upcoming Thanksgiving Holiday I thought I'd do a couple of shows near home as to enjoy a good time with all of my family, friends, and fans. I have 2 shows coming up and I've listed the details for them below. I'll be playing both shows with my friends Mavis Pearly (Jeff Walker, Brett Ellis, and Chad Hartley) as well as our great friend Andy Damron who will be making a trip in town from Florida to briefly rejoin us and play acoustic guitar for these two shows.

On Wed., Nov 24th we will be playing at Gator's (formerly Elmer's) in Blanchester, OH. As most of you know, Blanchester is my hometown and we are expecting a very good crowd full of people ready to get rowdy and have a great time. Tickets for this show are available for purchase at Gator's now for only $7 per person. As long as we don't sell out they will also be availabe at the door the night of the show for the same price. There are already a lot of tickets sold for this show, so you may want to purchase in advance to guarantee admission. The fun will begin at 10:00pm with Mavis Pearly kicking off the first set. I'll be joining them shortly thereafter along with Andy Damron to play until closing time.

Then on Fri., Nov 26th we will be at Uncle Louie's Lounge in Wilmington, OH. Again, we are already hearing a lot of talk about this show and expect another large crowd so if you want to make sure you get in you may want to show up a little early. This show will also start at 10:00 and go until closing time.

For location and directions to either one of these performances, please go to the "Upcoming Events" page of my website (www.brentkeith.net) where I have listed the addresses and provided a link to Mapquest. You can also go to the "Upcoming Shows" page of Mavis Pearly's website (www.mavispearly.com) as well.

Mavis Pearly, Andy Damron, and myself are all really looking forward to enjoying a great night of live music and fun with all of you!! We hope to see many of you there. Until then!

Take Care,

Brent Keith

coincidenceof_u
Once again, I've updated my "Upcoming Events " page and will continue to do so whenever I schedule another gig. I have many great things in the works as of the last week or so and will keep you all informed about any new developments in my career as soon as they happen. I'll be in Ohio every weekend through November but one(the 20th and 21st) due to birthdays, scheduled shows, and the holidays. Hopefully I'll see many of you either here or there and maybe I'll even see a few of you somewhere in between. That's all I've got for now so I'll say ,"until next time." And as always, thank you all for your continued support.

Much Love, BK

coincidenceof_u
Well, Autumn is upon us once again and I must say, I'm very happy about it. It's always been my favorite season. There's just a feeling in the air that I can't explain. Maybe it's because the holidays are right around the bend or maybe it's just because I'm insane. Either way, Happy Fall to all of you out there. I've updated my "Upcoming Events " page again and will continue to do so whenever I schedule another gig. I have many things in the works (as has been the case since the beginning of the Summer) and will keep you all informed about any new developments in my career as soon as they happen. That's all I've got for now so I'll say ,"until next time." And as always, thank you all for your continued support.

Much Love, BK

9:40 am - Update from Brent...

coincidenceof_u
Hey Everyone,

Just a reminder that I will be singing the National Anthem at Ohio Dominican University this Saturday, Sept. 25th at 12:20pm. I'll also be performing with Mavis Pearly and preston Scott twice this Saturday. Our first show is in Blanchester at the High School and will start at 7:00 pm and will end around 9:00pm. This show will be on the football field (as long as it doesn't rain) and is being held to to raise money for the Blanchester Athletic Boosters. If it does rain the show will be moved into the Jr. high Gym. There may be a special appearance by Mal Rodgers from Nashville Star. We will have CD's and t-shirts available for purchase at the show and I'll be sticking around until about 10:00pm to meet, greet, and sign for any fans, or friends that would like to say hello. After this show, Mavis Pearly will be rushing over to Katz Lounge in Kettering to start playing at approx.
10:00 pm where they'll play until I get there with Preston Scott at approx. 11:00 pm. Then we're going to play until the bar closes at around 2:30am. I hope to see many of you out at our shows this weekend!!

12:42 pm - Ousted 'Star' entrant says he gets leg in door

coincidenceof_u
Ousted 'Star' entrant says he gets leg in door

From Tennessean entertainment editor Linda Zettler:

The way Brent Keith looks at it, sixth place doesn't seem tragic in a field of thousands who auditioned: ''I feel amazingly blessed.''

Saturday, Brent became the latest eliminated contestant on Nashville Star, the weekly USA Network show airing live from Nashville. He may go home to Ohio for a couple of days, but then he'll throw himself into pursuing his music career.

''This is more than a foot in the door. This kind of thing is a leg in the door. Hopefully, something will come of this. I feel it,'' Brent said after Saturday's show, which took on a Southern Rock flavor with guest Lynyrd Skynyrd.

Three local folks are among the five remaining Nashville Star finalists: George Canyon of Nova Scotia, Canada; Brad Cotter, an Auburn, Ala., native and Nashville resident; Nashville native and resident Jennifer Hicks; Matthew Lindahl of Snellville, Ga.; and Lance Miller, a Fairfield, Ill., native who lives in Hendersonville.

From 3-7 p.m. today, the five are throwing a block party for the public at the house they are sharing in Nashville — a party that could prove to be a Nashville Star reunion. All finalists from the first season are invited, along with those already eliminated in this second round. Sherrie Austin is among the confirmed guests.

The block party — on 19th Avenue South between Wedgewood and Capers avenues — is free if you want to just schmooze and listen to music. But it's also a fund-raiser for St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in Memphis. So take cash if you want autographs or merchandise or want to bid on items such as a Harley V-Rod, a golf club signed by Montgomery Gentry and guitars signed by Wynonna and Jimmy Wayne.

Highlights from today's party will air during this Saturday's Nashville Star
